The National Coordinator of the National All Progressives Congress (APC) Supporters Centre, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Batati, has expressed confidence in the ability of the Kogi state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, to mobilise the Nigerian youths for the party’s victory in the 2023 general elections.
Batati in a statement issued in Abuja by the National Secretary of the group, Mallam Nura Dan Galadima, and made available to journalists on Wednesday by Mr. Aliyu Usman of the Media Directorate of the group, also pledged full support to Bello.
Recall that the Presidential Candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu recently appointed Bello as the National Youth Coordinator of the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.
The National Coordinator of the group said the governor has the best credentials to mobilize the Nigerian youths for APC victory in the 2023 general elections.
He expressed gratitude to the elders of the party for their foresight in appointing ‘the appropriate person that fit the position’ as the national youth coordinator of the Tinubu Shettima presidential campaign.
Batati said with Bello’s appointment as the National Youth Coordinator for the APC’s presidential campaign, the party had demonstrated wisdom and proved that it cares about the young people in the party and will provide a level playing ground for them.
