2023: ANRP presidential hopeful reveals plans to tackle poverty, development

A United States of America based Nigerian and a chieftain of the Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party (ANRP) Chris Emejuru, has revealed that he has written a book on how he will address issue of poverty, lack of development and other challenges in the county if given opportunity.

Emejuru also said he has also created a foundation in his namesake to lift people out of poverty in all the six geopolitical regions.

In a statement made available to Blueprint in Abuja Wednesday, Emejuru lamented that “providing consistent power (electricity), giving benefits to the Nigerian people so that they can spend money which is good for the economy, assisting in hospital bills so that expenses can be paid, empowerment through education and other forms of development, better infrastructure, reducing the threat of insecurity, and more should be at the center of government responsibility.”

The ANRP chieftain expressed confidence that despite all the challenges ‘Nigerians with all our resilience, still have faith that better days will come.

“I have written a book. It is titled “The Pledge” 2023 and Beyond. It is a vision I have of Nigeria and a greater destiny that awaits her. With proper guidance and leadership, as well as each of us carrying the responsibility of making Nigeria a true giant of Africa.

“For my part, I have also created a Foundation in my namesake. It is the Chris Emejuru Foundation.

“The Plan is to lift people out of poverty throughout the six regions of the federation (North West, North Central, North East, South West, South South, and South East) through education, training, and human capacity development.

“It is my passion and commitment to the Nigerian people. I know today times are hard, but we must never give up the fight. Together, with strength and persistence, we will get to our destination.”
