2021: Imbibe culture of financial discipline, BPA tasks Barutem people

The Barutem Patriotic Agenda (BPA) in Kwara state has asked its people to imbibe the culture of financial discipline in the New Year.

The intellectual and development advocates’ group called on the entire Baatonbibu to continue to live in one strong bond with each other in love and unity, saying that Barutem being the pride and food basket of Kwara state can only get bigger and better going forward.

In a New Year message signed by its President, Mallam Adam Sidi Oumar and its director of media and publicity, Almajiri Umar Farouq Idris, commended the governor of Kwara state, Mallam Abdul-Rahman Abdur-Razaq and other political officeholders in the state for their dedication and service in the past years.

The statement said: :No doubt the out gone year has been challenging and tough but we were able to brace through, we can only wish Almighty to bless each and everyone of us to conquer and excel beyond our expectations this year, we wish to call upon the entire Baatonbibu to this year imbibe a culture of financial discipline in terms of structuring their revenues prudently especially from their agricultural incomes.

“We use this medium to also commend the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdul-Rahman Abdur-Razaq and all political office holders for their unflinching dedication and service to the growth and development of Barutem in as much as we continually demand for more so as to reflect the contribution and impact of Barutem to Kwara State and the Nigerian nation.

“On this note, we wish Baatonbibu and all friends of Barutem a fulfilling and successful 2021 ahead.”
