2019: Kwankwaso is arrogant, impatient – Ex-commissioner

Kano state Commissioner for Finance and later Environment during the administration of former Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Alhaji Dan Azumi Gwarzo, has observed that the senator might deny himself the opportunity to rule Nigeria because of his inordinate ambition and  impatience.

Speaking to our correspondent yesterday in Kano, Gwarzo noted that if Kwankwaso teams up with President Muhammadu Buhari towards the 2019 general elections, the president would do everything possible to assist him become president in 2023.

“I served under him as commissioner of finance and environment and I can tell you with all honesty that Kwankwaso is an excellent leader and hardworking but he is very arrogant, a complete dictator and a politician who believes that he is always above others. His position on every issue as far as he is concerned is always the correct one.”

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, according to Gwarzo, served Kwankwaso twice as Deputy Governor and he rendered selfless service and loyalty to his former boss but when Ganduje became governor in 2015, “Kwankwaso insisted that he must form his cabinet for him, including dictating to him which projects to embark upon, and this Ganduje refused and today the two of them are at logger heads.”
