According to him, they only attended the flagg off based on invitation by the governor to New Generation Governorship Forum (NGGCF) of which he is also a member but said to their shocked it was announced at the event that they had collapsed their parties structures to support the governor’s second term bid.

Further, he explained that after the flag off they asked the governor to retract the pronouncement but he urged them to work with him and APC assuring that their concern for a viable economic plan for the state, need to revamp the education sector, payment of pension, leave grant, among others would be addressed.

He said the governor’s actions subsequently do not give any hope that these issues would be addressed hence their decision to withdraw their supports and endorsement.
