Zamfara sponsors 100 children of physically challenged to tertiary institution

The Zamfara state government said plans are on top gear to sponsor 100 children of people with disabilities to tertiary levels with a view to boost their morals.

Governor Bello Mohammed Matawallen stated this when he received destitute group at Government House, Gusau, the state capital Monday.

He said  people with disabilities have many roles to play for the development of the state, hence the need by his administration to improve their level of education at all levels.

Matawalle added  that, skills acquisition centers will be upgraded and renovated for the training of youth graduates, particularly destitute for them to become self reliant in the state.

“My administration will always remain committed to improve the living standard of the entire people living with disabilities particularly on education and self reliance, for them to live  like any other physically fit people in the state,” Governor Matawalle stated.
