Super Eagles defender Zaidu Sanusi will return for Sunday’s AFCON final against hosts Cote d’Ivoire, officials have disclosed.
FC Porto ace Zaidu missed Wednesday’s tensed AFCON semifinal against South Africa, which only had to be decided by a penalty shootout, due to a thigh injury.
“Zaidu is not out of the tournament. He will okay for the final,” an official told SCORENigeria.
In his absence, Ola Aina moved to left back while Bright Osayi Samuel of Fenerbache played at right back.
