Super Eagles midfielder Alhassan Yusuf has said he hopes to return to full training at the AFCON in the next few days.
“I suffered a contusion of the thigh muscles, but the recovery is going well,” the Antwerp ace told reporters in Abidjan.
“I hope in two, three days I will resume training.”
Alhassan, 23, said he will not rush to action particularly as the Super Eagles have been doing well without him.
The Antwerp midfielder was the Super Eagles standout player in the opening Group A game against Equatorial Guinea.
Since the injury he had not featured for the team.
