The newly appointed Chairman Caretaker Committee of Karasuwa local government area of Yobe state, Alhaji Lawan Gana Karasuwa, is dead.
Confirming his death, family sources revealed that “the deceased this morning complained of back ache and went to Federal Medical Center, Nguru for check up but couldn’t survive the ailment and passed away.”
The chairman died barely few hours to their official inauguration ceremony scheduled for Friday at the Government House, Damaturu.
His death has thrown the people of the state into pandemonium as he was often referred to as a “humble, accommodating and prospective politician with large support from his people”.
