Popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, who transitioned into politics, recently explained her abrupt departure from the social media platform, Twitter, which occurred after her unsuccessful bid for Lagos state deputy governor.
This was revealed after a curious fan asked about her whereabouts.
@apexproperties2 wrote, “Madam Funke, I cite you. Longest time, you ran away from us or what happened?”
Funke responded, “Dem too dey insult people on this app, so I stay off.”
Funke Akindele, was the running mate to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), governorship candidate in Lagos state, Abdulazeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor in the 2023 governorship election.
