Warri Wolves have revealed their intention of putting El-Kanemi Football Club to the sword when both sides square up to each face each other in today’s Nigeria Premier League game slated for the Warri City Stadium.
The Seasiders over the weekend edged out Union Douala of Cameroon to book a place in the next round of the Caf Confederation Cup.
Speaking ahead of the clash, striker Kelvin Itoya, said the players could not afford to slip against El Kanemi as the club was determined to make the Warri City Stadium their slaughterhouse this season.
“I know we drew six matches and lost to Akwa United here but I can assure you that it will not happen like that this season.
“I am very sure it won’t because we have experienced players in our fold now who know what to do at the right time.
“As for me, if the coach gives me the chance to play, I have no choice than to score because there is competition in the team now.
“You can see that everybody is struggling to get a shirt. So, if the chance is given to you, you just have to deliver and that is exactly what I am praying for,” he assured.
