Turkey was the reason for Brexit

One thing I admire about the British is that culture of a tight upper-lip; talk less or do not even talk at all so as not to show undue emotion or give the enemy a pathway to gauge your next move. I like them for that because I am garrulous by nature.

The British have not quite told the world the real reason for Brexit, but this can be correctly guessed; the Turks over across the Bosporus have shown a propensity to settling in Britain if given the chance. Despite a heavy presence of German-born Turks in Germany, native Turks prefer Britain.

Thus, if, or when as a lot of these native Turks hope, Turkey becomes a member of the European Union (EU) with Britain still a constituent party then the British homeland would be immeasurably swelled by waves upon waves of Muslim Turks ditching Greater Anatolia.

Surely, Britain would not be able to cope with this projected influx and thus the best course of action by Britain was to quit the EU. But the Brits are not telling.
