It was a bad moment for our country, which immense resources were expended not only on training these young-men as soldiers, but even entrusting the lives of millions of country men-and-women, aged-and-young citizens, yet a worst scenarior of killing Sheikh Goni Aisami, cripped-in from their (Gideon and Gabriel) end.
It is indeed sad that while the country is in dire need of young-abled men to pursue the onslaught against insecurity, with lots of our gallant soldiers, police, civil defence, and voluntee vigilantes, making great sacrifices, yet the duo of: Adamu Gideon, and John Gabriel, decided to toe the path of criminality, dishonesty and dishonour, hence causing the country easing them out of service, with the tendency of facing capital punishment.
I see this as a great loss to our security, though a serious indictment on the military, but not in general terms. Majority are out there sacrificing their lives to ensure our security, which they will by Allah’s grace win the battle for us.
I urge the police to prosecute them and the judiciary should dispensed justice, appropriately.
