TM CON 2023 targets young Africans, launches Digital Native Africa

As part of efforts to harness the potential of young Africans in the tech industry, TM CON 2023 has launched Digital Native Africa.

The platform is designed to empower, inspire, and educate the future leaders of Africa’s tech industry.

According to the organizers of the event, the Digital Native Africa aims to unleash the innovation and skills of young Africans, ensuring they are well-prepared for the demands of the modern workforce.

With a mission to unlock the potential of African youth, Digital Native Africa offers features such as Courses, Certificates, and Skill Badges, along with a Learning Path tailored to one’s chosen career, Talent Matching connecting users with great job opportunities, and many more.

At TM CON 2023, the over 1000 creators across the continent were able to paint their aspirations and shared their visions for the future.

Part of the aim of the gathering was to reshape the narrative of Africa’s tech and media landscape.

The impact of TM CON 2023, according to organizers, “extends far beyond the conference as it created a ripple effect, stirring the creative community to dream bigger, think bolder, and collaborate more passionately.”

From the first session that unraveled the secrets of building global brands to the riveting closing on mental health—dubbed “Creative Juice, Maintaining the Flow”—TM CON 2023 was a masterclass in the business of creativity and technology. In the African stories session, Steve Gukas and Elijah Affi, delved into how technology evolves from a mere tool to a transformative force in the hands of experts.

The event had icons like Steve Gukas, Eddie Madaki, Dapa Ayo-Adeusi, Bizzle Osikoya, Dr. Foy, Folarin Aluko, Tope Salami, Yemisi Isidi, and Maryam Bukar in attendance.
