Tambuwal dissolves exco

Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has dissolved the state executive council with immediate effect.
The dissolution, contained in a press statement, was signed and made available to newsmen by the Director, Media and Public Affairs, Malam Abubakar Shekara.
According to the statement, the dissolution of the council was aimed at restructuring and restrategising the cabinet for optimum efficiency and service delivery to the people of the state.
The governor thanked the former exco members for their dedication, sacrifice and loyalty to his administration.
He expressed appreciation to the people of the state for their support and understanding with the outgoing members of the council.
The statement also directed the commissioners to hand over the affairs of their respective ministries to the permanent secretaries.
The governor wished the outgoing members success in their future endeavours.
