Super Eagles touch down Rwanda ahead of Zimbabwe clash in 2026 World Cup qualifier

The Super Eagles have arrived Rwanda for Sunday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture against Zimbabwe.

The players and their officials departed the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, on Friday night.

The contingent arrived Kigali in the early hours of Saturday morning after a three hours, 30 minutes flight from Uyo.

The contingent then made a two-hour road trip to the city of Butare where the Huye Stadium, venue of the game is located.

The Super Eagles will have a feel of the Huye Stadium later tonight.

Sunday’s encounter will kick-off at 1pm Nigeria time.
