Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abuja Zonal Command, have arrested 13 suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja.
The Commission’s Head, Media & Publicity, Dele Oyewale, disclosed this in a press statement, Wednesday in Abuja.
He said the suspects were arrested at the Kubwa axis of Abuja following actionable intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.
According to Oyewale, items recovered from the suspects comprising 12 males and one female, include: 12 phones and laptops.
They would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded, the spokesperson added.
