The Lead Pastor of The Transforming Church (TTC) Rev. Sam Oye has admonished Nigerians to use their tongues to advance the country instead of destroying it through negative utterances.
He was speaking on Wednesday at the Unity Fountain in Abuja as part of the four-day event marking the 1000 days of the daily Prophetic Prayer Hour (PPH) which started last Monday.
Oye who was joined by some of his church ministers, church members and Abuja residents to make some prophetic declarations over the country said, “It is true that countries like the US and others are ahead of Nigeria in many ways, but there are certain things that are working good for us that they also envy. It is high time we looked at that. At every point in time, let’s learn to use our tongues positively in favour of Nigeria. It is not true that everything is bad in Nigeria. If you and I would therefore therefore make up our minds to see the good about our country, the current trend would change.
“Already, certain unexpected steps are being taken to the consternation of many. Even though there are litigations regarding who will occupy the number one position, let’s pray that the one currently occupying the seat would have courage to do the impressionable while it lasts.”
He used the opportunity to pray for the unification of all states and wisdom for respective state governors, the various arms of government and their heads.
The gathering at Unity Fountain was the highpoint of the event which started since Monday 19 after an initial press conference last week Thursday.
