Sharks show off new jerseys

Sharks Football Club yesterday unveiled a new set of jerseys for the 2013/14 NPFL season at the Sharks Stadium in Port Harcourt.
The quartet of captain Odinga Odinga,  Danladi Issah, Ibrahim Ajani and Kingsley Patrick were the models for the new kit which took place inside their stadium and was shared via their official Twitter account.

The new home kits are a mix of blue and red stripes, while the away jerseys are white and numbered with black. The goalkeeper’s jersey is yellow.
“The launch of the jersey shows the ambition of the club for the season which is to the blaze the trail,” said media officer, Peter Abaje.
While technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote, in his own opinion believed the new jerseys would spur the team to glory in the new season.

“We thank the management of the club for the launch of the club jerseys, it will spur us this season.
“As we have begun the season in style through the launch of the club jerseys, we urge the team to end it with style by securing a continental ticket for the state,” said general manager Okey Kpalukwu said
