Sallah: FRSC Corps Marshal orders compliance with traffic regulations

As the Muslim Ummah mark the 2022 Eid el-Kabir the Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, has urged full compliance with traffic laws.

This is as the FRSC boss sent a message of felicitation to all faithful, preaching love for one another, peaceful coexistence and care for the less privileged members of society.

Oyeyemi in the message urged the people to imbibe these virtues during and even beyond the Sallah celebrations.

He said the wanton destruction of lives and property on the nation’s highways resulting from people’s impatience would have been avoided, if commuters played cardinal role in checkmating the excesses of drivers who convey them from one destination to another.

Corps Public Education Officer, Bisi Kazeem, in a press statement in Abuja, said the Corps Marshal expressed satisfaction with the general conduct of the motoring public regarding compliance with road traffic regulations since the commencement of the Eid-el-Kabir special patrol.

He, however, admonished the Muslims as well as the motoring community not to jettison the rules in the course of the celebration, but to continue to observe them in order to build on the gains made so far.
