Riot as reckless driver murders an okada rider in Suleja

The busy Suleja/Minna road was greeted with pandemonium as angry motorcyclists took to the street to protest the gruesome killing of one of their own by a driver.

The commercial motorcyclist was riding in search of passenger before he met his untimely death after being involved in a fatal auto accident, where a driver identified as one Barrister Ekwueme, hit and killed the young man and drove off.

Angry motorcyclists took to the streets to protest the killing of their own in which they chased the driver who was said to be driving the jeep of Barrister Ekwueme’s wife to his law firm at Parks and Garden and vandalised his office.

The Police in ‘A’ division were informed,  they storm there like some kind of Commando and arrested 66 motorcyclists with their motorcycles.

As at press time the Divisional Police Officer of  ‘A’ division and Chief Superintendent Officer, Francis Sunday Ekanem,  were seen busy with relatives of some innocent motorcyclists that they had arrested among others.
The corpse has been deposited at the General Hospital Suleja mortuary.
