Ramadan: Zamfara APC calls for more prayers to end insecurity, hardship 

 

 The All Progressives Congress (APC) Zamfara state chapter, under the chairmanship of Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, has called on Muslims in the state to intensify prayers to end insecurity and economic hardship.

The party state publicity secretary, Yusuf Idris, has said in a statement made available to Blueprint Monday in Gusau.

The party congratulated the Muslim Ummah in the state for witnessing yet another holy month of Ramadan for the year 2024.

“We call on all Muslims in the state to use the holy month to rededicate their faith and closeness to the Almighty Allah and use the annual period in constantly reading the Holy Qur’an with understanding and follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

“Let our Ummah be good to their neighbours and assist the poor and the needy during the fasting period.

“Let’s also encourage the giving of alms (Sadaka) and always pray for an improved peace and tranquility, improved security for  national growth, progress and development.

“We should also use the Ramadan period to offer special prayers for Allah’s help in reducing the hardship being experienced now because Ramadan is a month full of Allah’s favours.” 

The party commended its state party leaders in their strive to provide food and other items as succour to the citizens  “which will definitely reduce the hardship in the state and we believe they will continue to do more in this direction.”
