The Bauchi state APC chairman Uba Nana has commended the national leadership of the party for initiating the registration saying it would give all Nigerians opportunity to be members of the party.
Nana made the commendation Tuesday during the flag off of the exercise held at Nufawa area of the state capital.
He pointed out that only registered members could be allowed to vote and be voted for in the party adding that the party congresses would be conducted soon.
“Anybody who reached the age of 18 is eligible to register as a member of the party. And those who are registered will participate in the upcoming party congresses”. He said.
Chairman of the registration committee Abdul’aziz Bello explained that the registration is open for all members who are interested in the party adding that old members should also renew their registration.
While promising that the exercise would be hitch free, Bello assured that the party would provide level playing ground for both all and new members.
