OC hosts Christmas Carol, felicitates with commanders

The General Officer Commanding 81 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Obinna Ajunwa, Sunday hosted the 81 Division Christmas Carol of the Nine Lessons to felicitate with top security agencies commanders, corporate individuals, and troops’ families as part of activities to celebrate the Yuletide season.

The Carol, which was held at the Hippo House, Ikoyi, has in attendance the former Nigerian Ambassador to Brazil , Ambassador Christopher Okeke, Chairperson, NAOWA 81 Division chapter, Dr Ada Ajunwa, Corps Commander Nigerian Army Supply and Transport, Major General Erema Akeredola, Deputy Commandant , Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre, Major General Parker Undiandeye, the Managing Director, Zenith Bank PLC, Mr Ebenezer Onyeagwu and the Chief Security Officer of Globalcom Limited, Major Nobert Okoro (rtd).
Others are the representative of the Naval Doctrine Command, representatives of the Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 2, the General Manager of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, and Commanders and Principal Staff Officers of the Division among several other dignitaries and families of troops.
The GOC, who read the eighth lesson from Mathew Chapter 2: 1-12, espoused on how the wise men were led by the star to the saviour.


In his Christmas goodwill message, the GOC admonished Christians to uphold the tenets of good neighborliness while making individual sacrifices that exemplified God.
