NPF gets new leadership

The Nigerian Polo Federation (NPF), has reelected Chief Francis Ibrahim Ogboro, as its new national President, while Alhaji Murtala Ahmadu Laushi, was reelected national secretary.

The NPF held its election at the Jos Hassan Usman Katsina Polo field, Friday.

Announcing the results, the election committee secretary, Alhaji Jibrin Ibrahim Magaji, said although all positions have only single contestant, “yet elections were conducted by way of affirmation of all nominations.”

The positions of first and second vice presidents, went to Alhaji Tanko Ayuba, and Alhaji Nura Sani Kangiwa, respectively.

Others are; Alhaji Haruna Ninge, Assistant Secretary, Alhaji Abdulkareem Jibrin,Treasurer, while Alhaji Abba Kangiwa, was returned as Assistant treasurer.

The position of Legal advicer went to Alhaji Abdu Abba Kofarsoro, while the positions of two ex-officio, went to Alhaji Salmanu Tilde, as well as Alhaji Sambo Idris, accordingly.
