NCDO inaugurates new executive

 Newly elected executive members of Numana Community Development Organization (NCDO) to handle the affairs of the organisation have been inaugurated.

The inauguration ceremony, which held recently at Gwantu, headquarters of Sanga local government area, also featured award presentation to  personalities who have contributed to the growth and development of the Numana community in particular and Sanga local government area in general. 

Speaking at the event that attracted dignitaries from all walks of life, the outgoing acting president of the organisation, Barrister Yunana Kyauta, harped on the need for the Numana people to endeavour to maximally contribute to the progress of the community, describing the call as a divine obligation on all.

While calling on the people to say no to all forms of injustices, Barrister Kyauta urged them to love and cherish one another and also make genuine sacrifices for the Numana nation to move the community to the next level of development.

In his acceptance speech, the new president of the organisation, Comrade Ahmed Manzo, said they will consider granting scholarship to less privileged youth to encourage their educational pursuits.

Manzo added that they will also commence the construction of a town hall, recreation center and a hotel in Gwantu for the betterment of the people.
