Nasarawa govt commences activities to mark second year in office


The Nasarawa state government has commenced activities marking the celebration of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s second year in office.
Commissioner for Information Culture and Tourism Comrade Dogo Shama disclosed this in a press briefing in Lafia on Tuesday.


He explained that part of activities government would embark on is statewide tour on Tuesday May 18 to inspect and commission projects it has executed in the past two years with the presentation of vehicles to first class traditional rulers.


The commissioner said on Wednesday May 19, governor Sule will be in Umaisha, Toto local government area to commission the Flood Early Warning System Equipments and in the same vein hold a town hall meeting in Toto town at the Senator Abdullahi Adamu youth centre.
He said on Thursday May 20, the governor will be in Karu and Nasarawa local government areas, and on Friday, 21, they would proceed to Keffi, Kokona and Akwanga local government areas.


He however, said the tour would be concluded on day 12 being Saturday 29, with a statewide Radio/Television broadcast by the governor by 10am.
