Nasarawa: APC backs disciplinary measures on suspended youth leader

 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) executive members of 12 electoral wards of Lafia local government area in Nasarawa state said the recent suspension of the state’s APC youth leader, Mohammed Masi, was in order.

The APC chairman of the Keffin Wambai electoral ward, Mr. Philip Aver, stated this Wednesday in Lafia during a peaceful march by the 12 electoral wards of the Lafia LGA in solidarity with the action of the APC Chiroma ward executives following his unruly behavior.

He said, “We are in solidarity with the disciplinary measures taken by Ciroma ward and we are calling on the local government area and state chapters of the party to insist on sanity in order to serve as deterrent to others who may wish to do same on our respected leaders.

“It was alleged that the said youth leader conspired with other members of NNPP to physically assault some respected sons of the party and other prominent personalities at the meeting of the party in the presence of the state governor, Abdullahi Sule.

“We, the executive members of 12 electoral wards of Lafia local government area hereby condemn the uncivilised, barbaric and dangerous behavior exhibited by the suspended APC state youth leader, Hon. Mohdmmed Abdullahi Masi, during the stakeholders meeting of Saturday 8” October, 2022 at the old presidential Lodge, Lafia.”
