Nasarawa 2019: Ja’afar pledges vibrant traditional institution

A governorship aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress in Nasarawa state, Arc Mohammad Ja’afar Ibrahim, has promised a vibrant traditional institutions if given the opportunity to serve as the governor of the state in 2019.
He gave the assurance yesterday in Doma when paid a courtesy call on Andoma of Doma, Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu Oga, in Doma local government area, explaining that his administration would give maximum recognition and respect to traditional rulers as custodians of the values, customs and traditions of the people.
Ja’afar, representing Nasarawa/ Toto federal constituency at the House of Representatives, pledged to work with the traditional institution, going by their leadership quality and role played in the restoration of peace and good governance.
He explained that he was in Doma to seek the royal father’s blessings and seek the support of party members in the area towards his ambition, adding that his desire to join the race was out of the passion to contribute to the development of Nasarawa state.
The guber aspirant also promised effective, efficient and well motivated civil service with a reward system for performance, stressing that the administration of pension will also attract his high priority.
He equally pledged to focus on human development even as he expressed the desire to anchore the socio-economic development of the state on four strong pillars; peace and security, infrastructural development, social justice and economic transformation.
Responding, the Andoma of Doma, Aliyu Oga, appreciated the lawmaker for deeming it fit to visit his domain, assuring that the people of Doma had resolved to support any aspirant who has genuine plans that will improve the lives of residents of the state.
