‘My appointment remains statement to Nigeria youths’

The Anambra State Commissioner for Economic Planning, Budget and  Development Partners, Mark Okoye has said that his  appointment depicts  deeper meaning than mere commissioner in Governor Willie  Obiano’s  administration, especially in the lives of youths within and  outside the state.
Okoye,  who spoke while receiving in his office, the Youth Wing of  Anambra State Association of Town Union (ASATU—Youth)

Dunukofia Chapter, claimed that the incumbent government is youth friendly, even as he  urged them to draw  closer to benefits from its entrepreneurial schemes,  agriculture and other  enablers.
He announced that, “I will work in harmony with the youths  while  serving the state because I am a youth. I know where it  pinches us, but you must be law abiding and focus in order to determine what you want because the era of giving free money has gone. You must make use of your  mental faculty in  order to achieve success in life.”

Earlier speaking, the leader of the group, Tochukwu Nwasike from Ukwulu community, explained that the visit was meant to familiarize with their brother, having earlier congratulated him on his recent appointment as Commissioner of the Ministry of Economic Planning, Budget  and Development Partner in Other speakers from the six communities that made up Dunukofia  LGA, including Comrade Kingsley Ezika – Ukpo, Comrade Onyemaobi Augustine – Nawgu, Comrade Egbo Maduabuchi – Umunnachi, Hon. Chike Odoji – Umudioka  and Hon. Sunday Edute – Ifitedunu, pledged unalloyed support to the present  government, even as they implored the government never to relent on appointing and creating enabling environment for business to thrive.
