Musa Amadu quits NFF role as outgoing Pinnick battles survival

Ahead of the September elective congress of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) the chairman of the body Organizing and Disciplinary Committee,  Barrister Musa Amadu has resigned his appointment with immediate effect.

Amadu did not state any reasons for  his resignation.

In a letter addressed to NFF President Melvin Amaju Pinnick, Barrister Amadu disclosed, “I write through this medium to honorably resign my position as the Chairman of the NFF Disciplinary Committee with immediate effect.”

“Let me express my profound gratitude to you and the Executive Committee for finding me worthy of holding this post since 2016.”

“The Committee under my leadership has handled multitude of cases with unblemished record, integrity and transparency, with plaudits from all football stakeholders desirous of moving our leagues forward and Nigerian football in general.”

The O & D is supposed to meet Thursday in Abuja to thrash out several cases pertaining to the leagues, especially the Nigeria National League (NNL).
