President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, Tuesday, constituted an ad-hoc committee that will spearhead the legislative agenda for the 9th Senate.
The committee as announced by Lawan at plenary would be headed by Senator Mohammed Adamu Aliero (APC Kebbi Central ) with others as members.
Some of the members of the committee included Jibrin Barau (APC Kano North ), Aishatu Dahiru (APC Adamawa Central ), Gershom Bassey (PDP C/River South ) and Halliru Dauda Jika (APC Bauchi Central ).
Others are Abdulfatah Buhari (APC Oyo Central ), Uche Lilian Ekwunife (PDP, Anambra Central ), Olubunmi Adetunbi ( APC Ekiti North), Chimaroke Nnamani (PDP Enugu East) , Sidiq Umar ( APC Kwara North) , Ifeanyi Uba ( YPP Anambra South ).
Lawan said the ad-hoc panel has two weeks to conclude its assignment.
In line with the assignment given to it, the committee is to meet by 2:00pm on Wednesday to fashion out the legislative agenda for the 9th Senate.
