Operatives of the Lagos State Taskforce have moved against the notorious land grabbers that used armed thugs to dehumanise members of the public
Our correspondent gathered that the land grabbers are found using armed thugs to beat victims blue and black and strip them naked in Lagos.
According to the Director of Public Affairs (DPA) ,Gbadeyan Abdulraheem, while briefing journalists, said one one of the notorious land grabbers, Saheed Abdulahi (Ibile) who operates in Ibeju-Lekki and Epe axis of the state has been apprehended after a series of complaints and petitions written to police authorities by residents, communities and landowners.
He stated that the arrest made in the early hours of Saturday was coordinated by the chairman of the agency, a Chief Supritendent of Police, CSP, Shola Jejeloye, after he had received series of complaints about Ibile’s high degree of beastiality and crude manner of operation when trying to dislodge legal occupants from their legitimate property.
Speaking on development at the headquarters of the agency, Jejeloye described Ibile as a repugnant entity not worthy of being in real estate business, talk less of evicting property owners unlawfully from their hard- earned landed property.
