Kwara Senator dies at 57

Former Kwara State Senator, Rafiu Ibrahim, is dead.

He was said to have died at the age of 57 after a brief illness.

Senator Rafiu, who represented Kwara South Senatorial District in the eighth National Assembly, died on Wednesday morning, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, service, and profound impact, according to a statement by his family.

“We kindly request your prayers and support during this difficult time. His burial arrangements will be communicated in due course.

“We pray Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Al-jannah Firdaus. Ameen,” the statement added.
