The chairman, who spoke at the valedictory ceremony at the Kuje Township Hall, commended Mr. Ayuba’s performance and affirmed that he carried out his assignments with a high sense of professionalism and patriotism, stating that “Mr Ayuba ensured justice and fairness to everyone in all circumstances during his service.”

Abdullahi Sabo acknowledged that the retiring director “never worked in isolation but carried all along in the discharge of his duties for the good of all.”

He described Mr. Ayuba as an upright man and a worthy ambassador of the country, for demonstrating sterling leadership qualities without compromising the rules of engagement all through his service years.

The chairman said the honour done to Dan Ayuba was a mark of appreciation for his diligent and impartial service, and donated a car to him as mark of appreciation for his exceptional service to the growth and development of Kuje area council.

While wishing Mr. Ayuba a happy retirement and success in his future endeavours, the chairman enjoined him to consider kuje area council as his second home, emphasising that he would be welcome anytime as an honourary indigene of kuje area council.

On his part, the chairman of Kwali area council and FCT outgoing ALGON chairman, Danladi Chiya, described Mr. Ayuba’s contribution to development while in office as not for Kuje alone but for the entire area councils in the FCT.

He explained that it is important to note that most productive part of Mr. Dan. D. Ayuba’s life has been used to serve the system but, he can still add value and make a change in the next face of his life and thus announced a donation of N10 million to the retiring director on behalf of the six area council chairmen of the FCT.

In his emotion-laden response, Mr. Ayuba, who was overwhelmed with joy, said he had enjoyed a smooth and cordial working relationship with the people of Kuje area council throughout his years of service.
