Kano people urged to support Kwankwaso’s peace, devt initiatives

Rabiu-KwankwasoPresident of Kwankwasiyya Unity Forum (KUF), a non-governmental organisation, based in Kaduna, Alhaji Sulaiman Abdullahi, has called on the people of Kano state to remain united and to give all the needed support and cooperation to Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso to enable them enjoy the dividends of good governance.

Suleiman, who made the call in a statement yesterday in Kaduna, said the Kwankwaso administration was a source of pride to the people of Kano and the country as a whole.
He described Kwankwaso as “a true politician” whose concern was to carry out a lot of developmental projects aimed at ensuring meaningful development of Kano state and its citizens.
Suleiman commended Governor Kwankwaso for the establishments of North West University in Kano, rehabilitation of Kano State University in Wudil, and the recent sponsoring of many Kano state indigenes abroad to study medicine, engineering and aviation, among others.
The forum’s president described the mass housing projects and roads construction in Kano state as highly impressive.

He commended the appointment of the new Emirs of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, and urged royal houses and the entire people of Kano state to support both Governor Kwankwaso and Sanusi Lamido Sanusi with prayers with a view to achieving peace, unity and progress and development.
He said Sanusi Lamido Sanusi “is a nationalist whose vision is to always promote sincerity, hard work and accountability.”
The president of Kwankwasiyya Unity Forum appealed to the members of the House of Assembly to continue to work hand-in-hand with Governor Kwankwaso to ensure peace and rapid development.
