Jigawa gov appoints 5 perm secs in civil service restructuring

Jigawa  state Governor, Mohammadu Badaru Abubakar, has approved the
appointment of five new permanent secretaries into the civil service  as part of
re-structuring of the service to fill existing vacancies.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Head of the Civil
Service, Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Tahir.

It would be recalled that last year, the governor retired 14 permanent secretaries, even as some of them were prematurely sacked.
According to the statement, the new permanent secretaries are Sabo Abdu Babura, Sarki Baba Jahun and Lawan Musa Nadada.
Others are Ali Garba Dandidi and Murtala Muhammad Kwalam.

The statement further stated that their appointments were purely on merit, competence and personal integrity.

“The appointment of the new permanent secretaries takes immediate effect,” the statement read in part.
