I’ve lost a teacher in deceased Chief of Staff – Bindow

Adamawa state Governor, Bindow Umaru Jibrilla, has described the death of his late Chief of Staff, Alh. Abdulrahman Abba Jimeta, as an act of God stressing that he has lost a teacher and friend.
Bindow stated this yesterday at the council chamber of the Government House, Yola while receiving traditional rulers led by the Lamido of Adamawa, Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha, who paid him a condolence visit to commiserate with him and the entire people of the state over the death.
He called on the people of the state to always cultivate the habit of fearing Allah and forgive one another, noting that death is inevitable and the world is temporary and not a place for people to fight one another.
The governor further called for continued prayers for the state and urged the people to live in peace with one another while thanking the traditional rulers for their support to his administration.
Earlier on, the Lamido, Aliyu Mustapha, who spoke on behalf of other traditional rulers, described the death of Jimeta as a loss not only to his family and the government but the entire people of the state.
He urged the governor to take the loss in good faith as death is inevitable and prayed Allah to grant the deceased internal rest.
