A former deputy governor of Imo State, Engr Ebere Udeagu, Monday passed on, aged 79.
Udeagu who was a water engineer, served as deputy governor from 1999-2007, under the then governor, Chief Achike Udenwa.
He was from Ihube in Okigwe local government area of the state.
A former governor of the state who took over from Chief Udenwa, Sir Ikedi Ohakim, described his demise as “saddening”.
