In Adamawa, group dares Tabital Pulaaku over threat against Binos

A coalition of ethinic nationalities in Adamawa South Senatorial district has carpeted and dared Tabitaal Pulaaku international (TPI) over their unwarranted attack against Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe, the senator representing the senatorial district.

The ethnic nationalities who made their position known in a press statement made available to journalists in Yola, at the weekend said such attacks unacceptable and can no longer be tolerated.

They threw their weight behind the senator and warned against further attacks and threats on the senator by the Fulani group for his stand on the insecurity bedevilling the country.

They, however, advised Tapitaal Pulaaku to appreciate the senator for his boldness in speaking the truth, cautioning them “to take necessary steps to get their people out of this criminal act of kidnappings and banditry which have portrayed the nation in bad light.”

The group urged Tapitaal Pulaaku to strive to restore the lost glory of the their ethnic group in the eyes of the world instead of threatening the senator for his contributions on the floor of the senate.

According to them, it is a known fact that most kidnappers and bandits are Fulanis as confessed by most of them who were caught.

The coalition noted that Senator Binos was only making reference to statement credited to sultan of sokoto who was reported to have said that out of every 10 kidnappers 7 are fulanis urging them to refrain from threats against the senator.

They added that the senate was the most appropriate place to make such contributions describing the attack on him as a direct attack on the senate and the nation at large.

They also noted that as a true representative of his people and a victim of Fulanis attack himself, he (Senator.Binos) has a responsibility to bring the ugly experience of his people to the attention of the senate and the country as the country is battling with how to overcome its various security challenges.
