Imo lawmaker floods constituency with democracy dividends 

The lawmaker representing Njaba State Constituency at the Imo state House of Assembly, Hon Ebonine Beneth Ozioma Worship, has changed the mood of his constituents for good with his unprecedented dividends of democracy as he has turned the envy of other lawmakers in the state.

Blueprint correspondent gathered that, six months after being elected Njaba lawmaker, Hon Ebonine has trained and empowered 46 ladies on skills acquisition in different fields; donated five sewing machines for tailoring business to five boys in the constituency as well as other skills acquisition programmes done to reduce crime rate in the constituency.

He has also donated 50 bags of cement to five communities for different projects in the area and graded all access roads in his constituency preparatory to this year’s Christmas celebration without seeking assistance elsewhere.

On education, he has been able to clear the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) fees of students, while on health, he has taken care of the surgeries of five of his constituents; three women and two men.

The lawmaker, who had earlier donated many bags of rice to his constituents and staff of Imo House of Assembly has instituted two football tournaments in Njaba worth N5 million each. While the final of the first competition which has been on, takes place on the 24th of December, the second competition is billed to end in January.
