Hoodlums excise man’s throat in Suleja

A group of hoodlums yesterday in Chaza-Suleja excised the gullet (throat) of a yet-to- be identified person in Chaza-Suleja.
Blueprint gathered that the victim is a commercial motorcyclist who was attacked by the hoodlums in the course of his duty.
A reliable source said the hoodlums attempted to kill the motorcyclist by slaughtering him up to the extent of cutting his throat, and thinking that he was dead, made away with his Balaj-model motorcycle.

He was, however, rescued by vigilantes from Kajeri Suleja along Kaduna expressway at 1am.
Informed of the incident, the Suleja local government chairman, Yinusa Adamu London, donated N30, 000 for his treatment at the Suleja General Hospital, but he was later transferred to Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital.

Blueprint reports that it has been a normal phenomenon for motorcyclists to be killed or dispossessed of new motorcycles without registration.
It would be recalled that recently corpses had been found on Wisdom Street, Red Cross and Timber Shed all in Kwamba, Suleja, in recent times.

Those unusual killings had led to corpses being deposited at random in and around Suleja.
Some residents, who spoke to our correspondent, said motorcyclists are now apprehensive, especially when they pick passengers to remote locations within Suleja, “because their security is no longer guaranteed.”
