Hardship: NUZAMSS president donates N .5m to ABU students

The national president of the National union of Zamfara state students (NUZAMSS) who is also the northwest zonal coordinator of the Nigerian Association of Science Students (NASS), Comrade Mubarak Musa Manager, has disbursed the sum of N500,000 to 120 ABU students as  relief package.

He said the aim is to reduce their socio-economic hardship while in the campus and for them to continue with their study with ease.

“It is not news that Nigerian students are currently experiencing a difficult period of their lives, especially those on campuses due to the high level of inflation in the country. That is why we find it necessary to assist the benefiting students in that direction,”  Manager said.

“This disbursement is the first of its kind ever made in the history of NASS North-west zone, and the zonal coordinator is determined to ensure more interventions that will assist the students at tertiary levels,” he said.

The NUZAMSS president enjoined the beneficiaries to use the fund given to them wisely.
