President of the Nigeria Football Federation Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau has taken a trip to Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup final taking place on Sunday between defending champions France and Argentina.
Gusau who watched the opening ceremony of the most prestigious tournament returned back to the country to attend to pressing domestic issue will on Friday attend FIFA Council meeting which comprises of the members Federation and will deliberate on various issues affecting the game worldwide.
The FIFA Council Meeting No 21 will take place at Doha by 11:00 am Blueprint sport can disclosed that the agenda comprises of this and several others items: the situation of the Chadian Football Association and the lifting of the suspension of the Football Kenya Federation, committee report on finance, development, organizing the Olympics football tournaments and Audit and Compliance committee report amongst others.
The NFF president is expected to return to the country on Tuesday December 20.
