…Governor promises to complete ongoing projects

Benue state Governor, Samuel Ortom, has promised to complete ongoing projects especially the Anshagba-Amua-Agbeede-Ge-Ikyobo road in Konshisha local government area of the state.
The governor also promised to install transformers in various communities for extension of electricity.
Governor Ortom who spoke yesterday at Agbeede, Konshisha local government area, during a grand reception in honour of his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Terver Akase, noted that his administration was committed to do things and embarking on projects that would impact positively on lives of the people.
Ortom, who was represented by his Special Adviser on Government House Administration, Mr. Thomas Anajav, also stated that Benue people have spoken through the Open Grazing Prohibition and Ranches Establishment Law and there was no going back on the issue.
He commended Mr Akase for his hard work and contribution he has made to his administration and appreciated the people of Konshisha for the quality training they had given to their son, saying he has not regretted working with him.
Federal Commissioner representing Benue at the Public Complaints Commission, Chief Theophilus Adzaagee, who among others spoke for stakeholders in Konshisha re-emphasised their resolve to stand with Ortom in thick and thin.
While expressing appreciation to Governor Ortom for finding their son worthy of appointment as Chief Press Secretary, he also praised Mr. Akase for his hard work and commitment to duty and prayed God to grant him better opportunities in life.
