‘Governments need citizens’ support to provide infrastructure’

The Presiden/ Founder,Charles Nzechi Foundation,Chief Charles Nzechi  has charged rich Nigerians to channel their resources back home in order to assist governments develop their various communities.
He gave this advice yesterday during the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected executive of his Ohuhu Solidarity Forum incorporated held at Umuda Okpuala Isingwu Community Hall.He further charged rich Nigerians and his Ohuhu people who are wealthy wherever they are to develop the attitude of coming back home to develop their land noting that the government cannot do it alone.
Nzechi  maintained that “the only way your wealth will be meaningful is when you channel same towards alleviating the sufferings of the poor and also assist in developing your community thereby  helping the government in its developmental programmes”.
He revealed  that his foundation, an NGO, geared towards assisting the youths and women is contributing its quota  in assisting in the development of his home stead as well as assisting the less privilege in the community and beyond. Nzechi added that the NGO  has skills acquisition programme where indigent women are empowered after undergoing training will assist them with tools and take off credit. He further disclosed that there is scholarship scheme where 27 students of Community Secondary School Isingwu WEAC not only registered them but their first, second and third terms school fees were also paid for them. In addition, “we constructed a six- room modern toilet facilities to the said school in the absence of none as part of services rendered by his foundation”.
Chief Nzechi maintained that there is no way you will want the government do everything for you those that are rich should come back home  and help the government to develop their various communities.
