Gov Zulum’s aide Isa Gasau’s death sad – Kefas

Taraba state governor Agbu Kefas on Friday expressed sadness over the death of Isah Gusau, the spokesperson to Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno state.

Kefes, in a press statement signed by his senior special adviser on media and digital communication, Emmanuel Bello, in Jalingo described as “devastating” the news of the demise of the ace journalist Isa Gasau whose death occurred Thursday night.

“Isa Gusau, until his death, was the spokesman to Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno state, he has also held high media profiles with other governors of Borno state,” the statement read in part.

According to the statement, Kefas said Gusau was a consummate newsman who “will surely be missed by his colleagues and the people of Borno state where he worked as spokesman in various governments.”

The statement added that Kefas prayed for the repose of Gusau’s soul and condoled with the family and his associates.

The statement added that Gusau passed away at the time when the nation and Borno state needed his services most.

“Gusau was a shining example of professionalism in the media world whose record in service is emulative.

“The late Gusau’s years as a reporter with Daily Trust Newspapers and his subsequent assignments in public office further established his brand for efficiency and passion for work,” the statement read further.
