Gov. Sule donates vehicles to Nasarawa first class monarchs

 

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has donated brand new vehicles to all the 25 first class traditional rulers in the state.

While handing over keys of the cars to the royal fathers at the Government House in Lafia Tuesday, Governor Abdullahi Sule said the gesture was to enhance seamless performance of their official duties.

Governor Sule stated that the traditional rulers had been strategic and relentless in the maintenance of law and order in their various domains amidst logistic challenges.

He called on them to redouble their effort towards working closely with security agencies, especially intelligent gatherings and regularly interface with their subjects at the grassroots as part of measures towards stemming the tide of insecurity in the state.

Speaking on behalf the recipients of the vehicles, the state chairman council of chiefs and Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage (rtd), said the donation of the vehicles would  go a long way in assisting them to discharge their official duties.
