Giwa’ll shock Enyimba again – Olorunleke

GiwaGiwa FC’s goalkeeper, Ojo Olorunleke, has sent out a warning signal to their Federation Cup semi-final opponents and title holders, Enyimba FC of Aba, stating that his side will again get better side of the People’s Elephants in Abeokuta on Thursday in an all-elephant joust. Giwa is a Hausa word for elephant.
The debutants earned four points against Enyimba in two league games after holding the People’s Elephants to a 0 – 0 draw in Aba before securing a narrow 1-0 win in a NPFL week 20 encounter in Jos on Sunday.

According to Olorunleke, the victory over Enyimba is a morale-booster for him and his teammates. He stressed that his side would not get carried away, insisting that a place in the final of the Federation Cup is their main target.
“It would do us a lot of good. Because this victory has just added more to our confidence and it makes us know that with God on our side, determination and more efforts we shall succeed in Abeokuta,” Olorunleke told Goal.

“Yes, we can beat them (Enyimba) again. Like I said, we won’t relent or let today’s (Sunday’s) victory go into our heads. All we need to do is to work harder and then pray to God for His favour.
Giwa will face title holders Enyimba for the third time this season in their first ever Federation Cup semi-final on Thursday in Abeokuta in bid to reach the final.
