Galadima eminently qualified to head PTDF – Medugu 

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa state, Alhaji Hamisu Idris Medugu, has described the appointment of Ahmed Galadima Aminu as the acting Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer, Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PDTF), as the right decision by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a congratulatory message in Yola, the Adamawa state capital, Medugu said the bringing on board of Galadima Aminu by the president was a laudable decision as he is eminently qualified to steer the affairs of the PTDF, considering his tract records of achievements. 

He congratulated the new PTDF helmsman, noting that Aminu is a technocrat who has excelled in managing the agency. 

Recall that a press release from the office of the president on Tuesday said the new Executive Secretary/CEO of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund has most recently served as the general manager of the education and training department at the Petroleum Technology Development Fund.

According to the statement signed by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, his appointment trails the application for retirement submitted by the outgoing Executive Secretary/CEO, Bello Aliyu Gusau, to proceed on 90-day pre-retirement leave beginning on September 26, 2023.

The President has directed the new Executive Secretary /CEO of the PTDF, Ahmed Galadima Aminu, to serve in acting capacity until he commences his fresh term of four years in office, beginning on December 26, 2023.

The president wishes the new PTDF Executive Secretary/CEO well in the discharge of his duties.

Medugu said that Galadima Aminu is Adamawa’s thorough breed and a perfect gentleman who can drive PTDF to a new haven of development for all Nigerians
